Please note that we have older pups and adults available at certain times. These dogs will become available for a variety of reasons such as changing our program up, a dog doesn’t meet all of our check points for a breeding dog, or we are retiring a dog from our program and want them to live life in luxury.

When getting older pups/adults these dogs may already have set quirks after all they are grown. These dogs will need much time, love, and patience to begin to feel comfortable and bond with the family. Aussies are naturally a more reserved and standoffish breed. Aussies are very smart and will take any opportunity they are given. It is imperative to be extremely careful with your newly adopted dog as they will try to take off and go back to their previous home. It will be an adjustment for them to realize you are their new home and family. Once the bond has occurred it is unbreakable and they will love you forever and do anything to please you. Giving your new dog the proper time and patience is key. Do not push your dog into anything they aren’t comfortable with. Work at their own pace and I assure you that you will love the end result.

Take a look at these pictures as it is fairly accurate in your newly adopted dog to take 1-3 months to fully adjust into your home and feel accepted.

**When getting a retired adult we are wanting the perfect forever home. In doing so I will be very conscientious when placing these dogs and in order to do so I will want thorough communication. I will have a few phone conversations and searching for homes within a couple hours of our location and will do a home visit (if applicable) to ensure the dog is placed in the best fit home.

Shasta red tri color 4 year old intact female

DOB 7/30/21

Shasta is a beautiful red tri female still intact. I would be willing to sell her on a strict 1 litter breeding contract with mentorship, or she will be sold as a pet on spay contract. Shasta is a great mom and has had two litters with us. She can be protective of her babies which is to be expected with the other dogs. Shasta loves toys and does well with our cat Sassy. Shasta would be better suited as an only dog or with another male dog in the home. Shasta does resource guard toys with other dogs and is a dominant female. She would excel in a calmer home as she is shy but does warm up over time. She requires a fenced in yard as she is a flight risk of running off until she becomes familiar and accepting of her new home. Shasta is very sweet and loyal to her person. Shasta stands 16 inches and is 31lbs. She is double registered AKC Miniature American Shepherd and ASDR mini aussie. Her daughter from a previous litter is exceling in the AKC show ring with only a couple points away from her Puppy of Achievement Award. Shasta is full panel clear including NAD and also tested non-merle, a true blue eyed tri color. She is also OFA’d good hips and normal elbows.

Finch red tri 1 1/2 year old neutered male

DOB 3/20/24

Finch is a handsome blue eyed red tri neutered male. He is higher energy and extremely smart! This boy needs a home that has prior herding breed experience and a good handler. He is very sweet but can get into mischief if not handled properly. He needs an outlet and someone willing to train him more commands. He thrives by engaging his brain. He likes the kiddie pool and doesn't mind our goats. He may be a bit much for cats in the home as he is very excitable but not in a mean way just overly playful. He does well with our other dogs but will not back down if a confrontation happens. He is 31lbs and 17in. He would do exceptionally well with learning obedience, agility, rally, scent work etc... Finch is house, leash and crate trained. We are seeking a solid, loving home. He has been through a 2 week board and train and the trainer had great remarks for him.

Synj black tri 3 1/2 year old neutered male

DOB 4/28/22

Synj is a small, blue eyed black tri intact male. We had high hopes to utilize him in our program as he is a small compact guy at 14.5in and 23lbs. Panel clear OFA'S good. And has two legs towards his UKC CH. He has his BCAT title as well. Synj is 3 1/2 years old. Unfortunately things happen and he is infertile. We have tried numerous things but with making hard cuts he is seeking a wonderful couch to lay on. He gets along well with female dogs but can be a hit and miss with boys. He does need to fed in his crate as he is possessive of his food with other dogs. Aside from this, he is neutered and a very healthy and active boy. He is a sweetheart and everyone who has met him absolutely adores him! Please don't miss your chance at owning a wonderful boy. He is leash and kennel trained and would adapt to housetraining with a bit a patience and a belly band until his hormones are out of his system.

Ella blue merle 2 year old spayed female

Ella is a wonderful gal that I really had high hopes for. I am seeking the right active home for her. She would make an excellent performance dog. She really wants to please and with the right person could make a GREAT partner in rally, obedience, frisbee, scent work, etc. She has been exposed to dock diving but wasn't really enthused. She does love to play frisbee and in the kiddie pools. A person who enjoys the outdoors whether hiking, camping or kayaking she would love. Ella is crate trained, leash trained and house trained, however hasn't been left unattended while gone. Ella would do best as an only dog or with a more submissive dog in the house as she is alpha in personality. But she does love to play with our other dogs that are similar in age. She minds well with our cat and goats. She has not had interaction with children and would prefer kids 13+ due to this. Ella is dual registered AKC Miniature American Shepherd and ASDR. She is 16.5in and 30lbs. She turns 2 years old in October. She will need spayed but is current on vaccines.

Bullitt 5 1/2 year old intact male

Bullitt is a handsome black bi colored Australian Shepherd stud. He is dual registered as an AKC Australian Shepherd and ASDR. He stands at 19inches and is 50lbs. He does come from mini parents and has proven to throw pups ranging from 16-19inches depending on the female. He passes on the BEST temperament to his puppies. Very even keel temperaments, lower drive and very outgoing pups. Bullitt is a wonderful attribute and I have no complaints as he gets along with any dog both intact males, females and pups. I am moving away from producing small standard sized Aussies and would love to see him utilized more. Bullitt would do wonderful in any setting as he is an absolute dreamboat. He rides well in the car, crate trained and was raised in our home, he will need just slight training to not mark when females are in heat, but quickly adapts. Bullitt is full panel clear including NAD and Non-HSF4, OFA good hips and normal elbows.
